Why should a workplace look at issues concerning aging families?
Statistics Canada recently reported that 1.7 million mid-life adults, age 45 - 64, are providing elder care to 2.3 million seniors. The majority of these boomers are working full-time, while trying to support aging parents or in-laws.
Employers who offer support can reduce their workers' stress, absenteeism, and improve productivity.
